LE MOYNE NCAA COMPLIANCE

The primary goal of the NCAA Rules Compliance Program at Le Moyne College is to continue to develop and coordinate a comprehensive communication network, which attempts to identify and implement effective strategies for rules compliance in conjunction with current NCAA legislation which will demonstrate institutional control. By developing an oversight structure, in cooperation with other institutional and athletic administrators, and our coaching staff, the recruitment of prospective student-athlete's, the certification of initial and continuing eligibility, the administration of financial aid, the oversight of extra benefits/student-athlete employment, the administration of sports camps and the administration of playing and practice seasons will be monitored and documented.

The program's secondary goal is to serve as an educational resource tool for coaches, administrators, student-athletes, and the entire college community to promote the spirit of fair play and equity in intercollegiate athletics.

Lastly, the NCAA compliance program is committed to the ongoing evaluation and self-study of Le Moyne College's athletic programs to ensure its continuous improvement within the context of the institutional mission, athletics department mission, and Article 2 of the NCAA Manual.
