LE MOYNE UNVEILS NEW TED GRANT COURT DESIGN

SYRACUSE, NY – The Le Moyne volleyball and basketball teams will take the floor next fall on a court with a brand new look. The athletic department unveiled the new court design for Ted Grant Court featuring the program's new logo. The design also features an extended 3-point line for men's basketball as well as a pair of Northeast-10 (NE-10) logos in the paint.

The newly designed court features the athletic department's primary logo on center court. In an expanded baseline that fades from black to green, the words 'LE MOYNE' and 'DOLPHINS' are displayed in bold lettering on either end line. Additionally, the words 'GRANT COURT' have been added on each side of mid-court.

Beginning in the 2008-09 men's basketball season, the 3-point line will be moved back 12 inches from 19-feet-9-inches to 20-feet-9-inches. The NCAA men's basketball rules committee approved the measure in May, 2007.
