College Station, Texas – Krey Bratsen, Brandon Wood and Andrew Collazo each recorded three hits to lead #8/21 Texas A&M to a 10-2 win over the Le Moyne College baseball team on Saturday afternoon at Olsen Field.
After three and one-half scoreless frames, the Aggies broke through with a run on two hits in the fourth inning. Jacob House singled up the middle with one out and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Two batters later, Wood singled to center field to drive in House.
The Aggies broke the game open the next inning with six runs on five hits. Kenny Jackson, Collazo and Bratsen opened the frame with consecutive singles to load the bases. Junior reliever Erik Lambe (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) then hit Matt Juengel with a pitch to plate Collazo. After Lambe got House to ground into a double play that plated Bratsen, Naquin scored from third on a balk. Adam Smith then drew a walk and came around to score on a triple to left center by Wood. Gregg Alcazar followed with a single to center to drive in Wood with the sixth and final run of the inning.

The Dolphins got on the scoreboard in their final at-bat with two runs on two hits. Junior shortstop Matt Marra (Brewerton, N.Y./Central Square) doubled with one out to start the rally. Reynolds then scored on a ground out to third by sophomore third baseman Paul Speicher (Shrewsbury, N.Y./Shrewsbury).
Nelson took the loss after yielding five runs on seven hits over four innings, while striking out three batters. Junior center fielder Brett Botsford (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W.
