Colchester, Vt. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team earned its first-ever share of the Northeast-10 Conference regular season title with a 3-0 victory over Saint Michael's College on Friday night in NE-10 action at the Ross Sports Center.
The Dolphins took a 1-0 lead in the match with a 25-19 victory in the first set. They doubled their lead by cruising to a 25-10 win in the second set, including 11 of the last 12 points. Le Moyne closed out the match with a 25-13 victory in the third set, including the final six points.

Jessica Miller (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville South) hit .375 en route to landing nine kills, while adding three digs and two blocks. Senior outside hitter
Natalie Casson (Kingman, Ariz./Kingman) also recorded nine kills in the match, while recording a season-high 20 digs. Junior setter
Kendall Corcoran (Fort Salonga, N.Y./Kings Park) directed the offense with 28 assists, while contributing seven digs and three kills. Sophomore libero
Mikayla Porr (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) tallied nine digs and seven service aces in the victory.
McKenzie McNamara led the Purple Knights in the loss with six kills, while Gabby Ratte had five kills, two digs and two assists. Catie Weller and Sarah Rodgers each dished out eight assists, while Weller added eight digs. Natalie Moore led the team defensively with a match-high 24 digs.
Le Moyne (21-5, 11-2 NE-10), which has won 21 matches in a season for just the fourth time in the program's history (1985, 1995, 1996) and has 11 conference victories for just the second time in 21 seasons in the NE-10 (11-3 in 2001), closes out the regular season on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Anselm College. If the Dolphins defeat the Hawks, the Dolphins will claim the Northeast-10 regular season title outright and host the eighth seed on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the first round of the Northeast-10 Championship. If the Hawks are victorious, it would result in a four-way tie for first place at 11-3 between American International, Le Moyne, New Haven and Saint Anselm. In that instance, Saint Anselm would be the top seed due to sweeping the other three teams in the tie. Le Moyne would claim the second seed if Pace University defeats Franklin Pierce to secure the fifth seed, while the Dolphins would be the third seed if Pace loses, which would result in Adelphi or Franklin Pierce grabbing the fifth seed.
