Rockville Centre, N.Y. – Senior outside hitter
Natalie Casson (Kingman, Ariz./Kingman) landed 18 kills to lead the Le Moyne College volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Molloy College on the second day of the Long Island Invitational on Saturday at Quealy Gymnasium. The Dolphins fell to Post University, 3-0, in their second match of the day.
The Dolphins opened the morning with a 25-15 win in the opening set against Molloy. The Lions countered with a 26-24 win in the second set to even the match at one apiece. Le Moyne answered back with a 25-17 victory in the third set and closed out the match with a 25-16 win in the fourth set.
Casson registered kills on six of her nine attack attempts in the opening set and posted five kills in eight attempts in the third set. In addition to her match-best 18 kills, she posted eight digs and eight service aces, including four in each of the first and fourth sets. The eight service aces are tied for the third-most by a Dolphin over the last 14 seasons and are the most since current head coach

Anna Hafoka (Hurst, Texas/L.D. Bell) hit .476 en route to 12 kills, six of which came in the third set, while adding three blocks. Junior setter
Kendall Corcoran (Fort Salonga, N.Y./Kings Park) handed out 41 kills to direct the offense, while adding seven digs.
Devon Hagerstrom led the Lions in the loss with 10 kills. Sophia Smith dished out 25 assists, while Dakota O'Neill led the defense with 13 digs.
Post jumped in front with a 25-19 win in the opening set. The Eagles rallied from a 21-14 deficit and staved off two Le Moyne 'set-points' the second set to record a 28-26 victory for a 2-0 lead in the match. Post closed out the three-set win with a 25-19 win in the third set.
Casson led the Dolphins in their first setback of the season with nine kills and nine digs. Corcoran posted 28 assists and five digs, while Porr and freshman
Claire Hiwiller (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) had 16 and 10 digs, respectively.
Skylar German led the Eagles to the victory with a double-double of 16 kills and 10 digs. Morgan Griffin just missed a double-double with 11 kills and nine digs. Brianna Root directed the Post offense with 38 assists, while adding 13 digs for a double-double. Hailey Griffin paced the defense with 14 digs.
Le Moyne (3-1), which improved to 7-0 against Molloy, returns to the court on Friday at Wilmington University's Wildcat Regional Tournament against Bloomfield College at 3:00 p.m. and Holy Family University at 7:00 p.m.
