Nicole Delany (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) scored six goals to lead the third-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 17-6 victory over Saint Michael's College in the Northeast-10 Conference finale on Saturday afternoon at Duffy Field.
Le Moyne (16-1, 12-1 NE10) opens Northeast-10 Conference Championships play on Wednesday hosting seventh-seeded Saint Anselm College at 1:00 p.m.
Saint Michael's opened the game's scoring just over three minutes into the contest as Ashley Dineen tallied her 26th goal off a pass from Kaelyn Oliver.
The Dolphins answered with a pair of goals in a span of 61 seconds. Sophomore attacker
Sidney Hall (Adams Center, N.Y./South Jefferson) tied the score 31 seconds later by converting a free-position shot for her 40th goal with 26:28 left. Delany netted her first goal of the day and 50th of the season with 25:27 remaining off a feed from freshman attacker

The Purple Knights evened the score at two with 22:25 as Dineen scored again off a pass from Oliver.
Le Moyne took control of the game with the last seven goals of the first half. Delany started the streak with 21:19 by finishing off a feed from junior attacker
Bryanna Fazio (Watertown, N.Y./General Brown), who followed with her 53rd goal of the year with 16:08 to go. Freshman midfielder
Lauren Ferris (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) registered her third goal of the season with 12:55 off a feed from freshman attacker
Erin McMullen (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill), who then recorded her 39th goal with 11:40 remaining after receiving a pass from Hall. Senior attacker
Jacqueline Pardee (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) made it 7-2 with a free-position goal with 7:53 left. Fazio netted her second goal of the day off a rebound with 58 seconds to go. With the goal, Fazio moved into fifth place on the program's career goals chart with her 133rd. McMullen closed out the scoring in the half with 19 seconds left with her 40th goal off a feed from Fazio, who moved into 10th place on the program's career assists list with her 57th. With McMullen reaching the 40-goal plateau, it gave the Dolphins four 40-goal scorers (Delany, Fazio, Hall, McMullen) in the same season for the first time in the program's history. Four previous teams (2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016) had three 40-goal scorers.
Oliver snapped the Purple Knights' scoring drought of just over 24 minutes by converting a free-position shot 1:38 into the second half.
The Dolphins countered with two goals in 15 seconds. Delany got the Dolphins into double digits with 27:30 left and Altland followed with her 14th goal of the season.
Alex Vincent got one goal back off a free-position shot with 25:56 to play.
Le Moyne scored the next two goals for a 13-4 lead. Junior midfielder
Monica Sanna (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford) netted her 21st goal of the campaign with 25:21 left and Delany followed with her 53rd with 23:55 remaining.
Saint Michael's got within eight for the final time with 16:26 left as Olivia Krause scored her 11th goal of the year off a pass from Lilly Hardy.

Brittney Pollack (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) found the back of the net for the fifth time with 14:31 left off a feed from junior attacker
Madison Pritchard (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee/Onondaga C.C./Canisius). Delany pushed the lead to 10 with her fifth goal of the game with 11:07 to play.
Kealy Moyna finished off the scoring for the Purple Knights with her 30th goal with 9:46 remaining.
Pritchard converted a free-position shot with 8:58 left for her ninth goal of the campaign and Delany completed the game's scoring with 4:14 left after taking a feed from sophomore attacker
