Lauren Zazzaro (Southington, Conn./Southington) doubled home the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Le Moyne College softball team downed The College of Saint Rose, 6-3, in the nightcap of a Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division doubleheader on Thursday afternoon at the Plumeri Complex. The Golden Knights won the opener, 10-0, in five innings as Samantha Allen tossed a no-hitter.

Ally Nicolosi (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) doubled with one out and came around to score on a double by junior pitcher/designated player/first baseman
Peyton Bellrose (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool).
Le Moyne scored twice in the second on three hits. Freshman third baseman

Kaily LaForce (Binghamton, N.Y./Binghamton). Following a pitching change and a groundout, junior second baseman
Jillian McManus (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) singled to plate LaForce.
The Golden Knights took advantage of a pair of Le Moyne errors in the third inning to tie the score at three. Catcher Alissa Folts reached on an error by the third baseman to start the frame and moved around to third on a double by first baseman Briana Bowen. After a pair of outs around a walk to load the bases, right fielder Taylor Matlock walked to force in Folts. Second baseman Shannon Moore then reached on an error by the shortstop, which allowed Bowen and left fielder Astasia Myler to score.
Le Moyne regained the lead with three runs on three hits in the seventh inning. McManus led off with a single and moved to second on a groundout. After another groundout, Zazzaro doubled to drive in McManus with the go-ahead run. Following walks by Bellrose and senior left fielder
Madison DeRita (Higganum, Conn./Mercy) to load the bases, Catalano doubled to knock in Zazzaro and Bellrose.
Bellrose earned her fifth win of the season after tossing three and two-thirds hitless and scoreless innings in relief, while striking out one. Catalano, LaForce and McManus each recorded two of Le Moyne's nine hits. Kylee Warner took the loss for the Golden Knights after allowing three runs and five hits over six innings.
Saint Rose scored the only run it would need in the opener in the first inning on two hits. Bowen led off with a single, moved to third on a one-out single by Myler and then scored on a groundout to the pitcher by third baseman Savanna Liverio.
The Golden Knights blew the game open with six runs in the second inning on six hits. Moore and catcher Katie Drogo singled to start the inning and moved up on a wild pitch. Warner then singled to drive in Moore. After a walk by Folts to load the bases, Bowen singled to knock in Drogo. Following a pair of outs at home, Liverio tripled to drive in Bowen, shortstop Ryane Brush and Myler. Matlock then singled to plate Liverio with the sixth run of the frame.
Saint Rose added three runs in the third. After Folts and Bowen drew walks with two outs, Brush blasted a three-run home run.
Bellrose took the loss after giving up seven runs over two innings. Allen struck out five en route to her no-hitter, while yielding three walks and two hit batters.
