Bryanna Fazio (Watertown, N.Y./General Brown) tallied a game-high five points to lead the top-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 17-10 win over 18th-ranked Merrimack College on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Duane Stadium.
Merrimack started the game's scoring at the 28:13 mark as Taylor Darrell scored her 14th goal of the season.
The Dolphins evened the score at the 27:00 mark as junior midfielder
Nicole Delany (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) converted a free-position shot for her 31st marker of the year.
Bridget Schofield regained the lead for the Warriors just 16 seconds later with her 19th goal of the season.
Le Moyne answered back 26 seconds later as junior midfielder
Julia Sardella (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool/Siena) recorded her 22nd goal of the season off a pass from sophomore midfielder

Amber Feminella gave the Warriors their final lead of the game with 23:55 left by converting a free-position shot for her 36th goal of the year.
The Dolphins answered with the next three goals to take the lead. Fazio started the run with her 40th goal of the season by connecting on a free-position shot with 18:17 left in the half. Erin McMullen (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) netted her 34th goal of the season with 11:19 left off a feed from junior attacker

Catherine Mahanna got the Warriors within 5-4 with 10:55 left off a free-position shot, but the Dolphins scored the final six goals of the half over the last 5:14. Lauren Ferris (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) followed 31 seconds later with her second goal of the year. McMullen made it 9-4 with 3:36 remaining with her 35th tally of the campaign. Following a yellow card on the Warriors, Fazio scored in the extra-player situation with 59 seconds left in the half. Off a restart of a missed shot, McMullen swatted a pass from Hall into the net with 2.2 seconds remaining for an 11-4 lead at halftime. With the assist, Hall moved into a tie with Kylie Rosette '08 for fifth on the program's career assists list with her 79th.
Le Moyne extended its run to seven straight goals with the first tally of the second half as senior midfielder
Monica Sanna (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford), who became the program's leader in career starts with her 75th, registered her 26th goal of the season in a player-down situation with 24:30 to play.
Merrimack netted the game's next two goals over a span of 8:54. Mahanna snapped her team's scoring drought of 19:44 with her eighth goal of the year with 21:11 remaining. Just under nine minutes later, Ally DaCosta scored her 17th goal of the season off a pass from Darrell.

Jessica Meneilly (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) finished off a feed from McMullen for her sixth goal of the campaign.
After Feminella got the Warriors within 14-7 with 8:24 left, the Dolphins took their largest lead of the game with back-to-back tallies. Meneilly collected a pass from Fazio prior to scoring with 7:35 to go. Hall then converted a free-position shot with 5:01 left for her 29th goal of the season.
Darrell answered 11 seconds later with her 15th goal of the season.
Delany completed Le Moyne's scoring with 3:21 left after taking a feed from Fazio.
Following a non-releasable yellow card on the Dolphins, Merrimack scored twice in the final minute to deliver the final score. Feminella converted a free-position shot with 53 seconds left and then Haley Bartlett finished off a pass from Emma Bonassar.
Junior goalkeeper
Hannah George (Johnson City, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) improved to 54-3 between the pipes in her career after registering nine saves, the sixth of which was the 400th of her career. Lauren Trepaney also made nine saves in the game for the Warriors.
Le Moyne (13-0, 9-0 NE10), which clinched a top-six seed in next month's NE10 Championships with the win, returns home to face American International College on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
