Sidney Hall (Adams Center, N.Y./South Jefferson) tallied five points to lead the top-ranked and top-seeded Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 14-6 win over 17th-ranked and fifth-seeded Assumption College in the Northeast-10 Conference Championships semifinals on Saturday at Ted Grant Field.
With the victory, the Dolphins set a program record for their longest single-season winning streak and consecutive wins to open the season with their 19th straight triumph. The 2017 Dolphins won their first 18 games of the year. The Dolphins advance to the NE10 Championship game for the fifth straight year (longest active streak in the conference) and for the eighth time in nine years in the conference. The Dolphins will take on 22nd-ranked and seventh-seeded Merrimack College on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The Warriors upset second-seeded Adelphi University on Wednesday and topped sixth-seeded University of New Haven on Saturday.
Assumption opened the game's scoring just 81 seconds into the game as Sarah Reilly recorded her 70th goal of the season after taking a pass from Kailyn Hart.
The Dolphins answered with the next four goals. Hall knotted the score at one with 27:51 left off a feed from sophomore midfielder

Nicole Delany (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) tallied her 49th goal of the year with 23:34 until halftime. Lined up for a free-position, sophomore attacker
Brittney Pollack (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) sent a pass to the left edge of the crease to sophomore attacker
Erin McMullen (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill), who fired in her 45th goal of the season with 21:33 to go to force an Assumption timeout. McMullen scored again 49 seconds later for a 4-1 lead.
The Greyhounds took advantage of a Le Moyne foul to get back within two as Callie Dwyer converted a free-position shot at the 17:40 mark for her 23rd goal of the year.
Le Moyne countered with the next three goals. Freshman attacker
Jessica Meneilly (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) finished off a feed from McMullen at the 16:30 mark for her 14th goal of the year. Just over six minutes later, Meneilly scored again after collecting a pass from Hall. McMullen put the Dolphins up by five with 9:39 left with her 47th tally of the campaign.
Assumption netted its third goal of the game with 8:27 left as Reilly converted a free-position shot.
Meagher registered her ninth goal of the year with 4:12 to go after receiving a pass from Hall to push Le Moyne's lead back to five.
Emily Spath completed the scoring in the first half with her 29th goal at the 3:51 mark off a pass from Hart.
Le Moyne took its third five-goal lead of the game with 25:42 remaining as Hall found the back of the net for the 35th time this season.
Reilly got the Greyhounds within four for the final time with 23:36 to play.
Le Moyne put the game away with the next four goals. Hall started the run at the 20:16 mark with an unassisted goal. Delany followed 64 seconds later with her 50th goal of the season off a free-position shot. She converted another free-position shot with 15:27 left to give the Dolphins a 12-5 lead and force an Assumption timeout. Following 12 and one-half minutes of scoreless play, senior attacker
Bryanna Fazio (Watertown, N.Y./General Brown) tallied her 61st goal of the season.
Reilly completed Assumption's scoring with 55 seconds left after taking a pass from Jill Good.
Fazio ended the game's scoring by slipping a shot inside the post as time expired.

Hannah George (Johnson City, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) tallied seven saves, including five in the first half, to earn the victory between the pipes. Allie Collins turned away 13 shots in the loss, including seven in the first half.
