Utica, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's indoor track and field team recorded a seventh-place finish at the Utica College Pioneer Open on Saturday at. The women's team turned in an eighth-place finish.
RPI won the men's team competition with 133 points. Utica collected 97 points to place second and St. John Fisher College was third with 94 points. The Dolphins recorded 31 points to land in seventh place.

Kenny Barrett (Lagrangeville, N.Y./Lady of Lourdes), junior
Jordan Devereaux (Syracuse, N.Y./Solvay) and freshmen
Christian Carlin-Saracene (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and
Benjamin Dertinger (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) won the distance medley relay by almost 16 seconds with a time of 10:47.43. The quartet also placed fifth in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:35.39.
Freshman
Nicholas Hafner (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) registered a program-record time of 9.02 seconds to place third in the 60-meter hurdles.
Devereaux recorded a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash in 23.39 seconds.
Sophomore
William Bilow (Chasm Falls, N.Y./Franklin) cleared the bar at 6-feet, 0-inches in the high jump to place sixth.
Freshman
Nolan Hillhouse (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon) recorded a distance of 41-feet, 1.5-inches to finish sixth in the triple jump.
SUNY Plattsburgh claimed the women's competition with 103 points. RPI tallied 97 points to finish second, while Utica was third with 89.50 points. The Dolphins placed eighth with 26 points.

Chloe Hanson (Saugerties, N.Y./Saugerties) registered a second-place finish in the one-mile run with a time of 5:29.78.
Freshman
Shaina Smith (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) tallied a third-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles by crossing the finish line in a program-record 10.01 seconds.
Sophomore
Samantha Pellegrini (Loudonville, N.Y./Colonie Central) collected two points with a seventh-place finish in the one-mile run with a time of 5:40.57.
Freshman
Julianna Szczech (Camillus, N.Y./Marcellus) turned in a seventh-place finish in the pole vault by clearing the bar at a program-record 8-feet, 6.25-inches.

Catherine Durant (Arverne, N.Y./Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School) and
Cleo Baker (Painted Post, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) placed second in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:19.91.
The Dolphins return to action at The College at Brockport Multi on Friday and Saturday.
