Garden City, N.Y. – Senior point guard
Erin Fouracre (Loudonville, N.Y./Colonie Central) dribbled the length of the court, made a move past her defender, and scored the go-ahead layup with 0:04 remaining in the Le Moyne College women's basketball team's 46-45 Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division victory at Adelphi University on Tuesday evening to complete the Dolphins' fourth quarter come-from-behind victory and improve the team's record to 14-4 on the season. Le Moyne now holds sole possession of first place in the Northeast-10 Southwest Division standings with a 12-3 resume against conference competition following the win.
"(Adelphi) is a really good defensive team. We just stayed the course. That's what we talked about at halftime, we just have to stick to what we do," said Le Moyne Head Coach
Mary Grimes after the game. "… Erin stepped up and made a great play [at the end]," Grimes added.
The Dolphins showed great poise and maturity down the stretch, moving the ball and getting good shots during high-pressure offensive possessions.

Following the triple, Fouracre accepted the inbounds pass from underneath Le Moyne's basket, dribbled all the way to Adelphi's basket, drew a foul and made two free-throws to cut the Panthers' momentum.
Abdul-Aziz made a great defensive play during the subsequent Le Moyne defensive possession. The Dolphins switched to a man-to-man defense during the second half; Abdul-Aziz slid her feet as her opponent attacked the basket, stripped the ball out of her hands and forced a turnover, earning possession back for the Dolphins with 6:59 left in the quarter. Le Moyne brought the ball up the court and got it to Zimmerman on the right side. Zimmerman skipped a pass over the defense to Baker on the opposite side of the court. Le Moyne stayed in their woman-to-woman defense during the next Adelphi possession. Miccile attacked the basket, but was guarded well by Zimmerman, who provided her fifth block of the game for Le Moyne when she knocked Miccile's shot out of bounds. Fouracre crossed back over to her left, bounced the ball just outside the elbow, gathered it as she drove towards the left block, kept the ball away from her defender and finished the left-handed layup to put the Dolphins up 46-45. The Panthers called a timeout, and Fouracre let out a roar as the Dolphins celebrated their go-ahead basket on the road.
