DeWitt, N.Y. – The 45th-ranked Le Moyne College men's tennis team registered a 4-0 victory over 46th-ranked Queens College on Friday night in non-conference action at Elevate Fitness.
The Dolphins, who defeated the Knights in the first round of the NCAA Championships last May for their first NCAA win, opened the match by sweeping the doubles competition for the fifth time in six matches. Graduate student

James Howard (Malmesbury, South Africa/Homeschooled/ASA College) clinched the point with a 6-4 win at the third position over Mariano Bibiloni and Tim Ostheimer. Fifth year
Tom Jarry (Paris, France/CNED Toulouse/Emmanuel) and junior
Ethan Miller (Swindon, England/Cirencetser Kingshill School) completed the sweep with a 7-5 victory at the first spot over Omar El Shehawey and Moritz Borges.
Le Moyne won the first three matches of the singles competition to finish to secure the victory. Hatton improved to 10-0 as a Dolphin by downing El Shehawey at the fourth position, 6-4, 6-2. Righi moved to 8-0 with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at the second spot over Bibiloni. Jarry collected his team-best 13th win of the year by registering a 6-4, 7-5 victory at the first position over Rashad.
Jared Howard was up a one set on Demuth at the third spot, while the fifth and sixth spots were still in their first set when the match was clinched.
Le Moyne (11-1) returns to NE10 action on Saturday against Bentley University at the Skytop Tennis Courts at 12:45 p.m.
