Loretto, Pa. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team took on Merrimack College at DeGol Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors won the match 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, and 25-21.
 
For the Dolphins, senior outside hitter Madison Dembroski (Plattekill, N.Y. / Wallkill) recorded seven kills, freshman opposite/outside hitter Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, Ontario / Napanee District Secondary School) had six kills, and junior outside hitter Emily La Ruffa (Rock Hill, N.Y. / Monticello) had five kills. Sophomore setter Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) guided the offense with sixteen assists, and freshman libero/DS Haley Buescher (Toledo, Ohio / St. Ursula Academy) had six assists. Gerken also had six digs, and junior libero/DS Ella Katz (Burnt Hills, N.Y. / Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake) and sophomore middle hitter Kayla Anstett (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) both had five digs.
 
For the Warriors, Julz Carlat had 10 kills, Maalese Wallace had nine kills, and Cate Wright had six kills. Mia Ardila had 27 assists, Ashley Gajdzik has one assist. Lauryn Mattiucci had 12 digs, and Ashley Gajdzik, and Amanda Gately both had six digs.
 
The Dolphins next match will be Saturday, October 28^th, at 5:00pm against Saint Francis University at Ted Grant Court.
