Sara Goodwin (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/Virginia Tech),
Katelyn Karleski (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) and
Jessica Meneilly (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) each scored five points to lead the eighth-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to an 18-6 victory over 20th-ranked University of New Haven on Wednesday afternoon at Kathy Zolad Stadium.

The Dolphins opened the game with the first three goals. Senior attacker
Gemma Addonizio (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) got the scoring started at the 12:53 by curling around the net off a restart of a missed shot. Just 36 seconds later, Karleski netted her first goal of the game off a drive through the middle of the defense. Just under five minutes later, Goodwin registered her first goal of the contest.
Savannah Ernst, who entered the game tied for fourth in Division II in career goals with 170, got the Chargers on the scoreboard at the 5:55 mark by converting a free-position shot.
Le Moyne scored twice in a span of 59 seconds to extend its lead to 5-1 at the end of the quarter. Junior attacker
Sarah Hutchings (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) made it 4-1 with 1:52 left after taking a pass from junior midfielder
Rhonee Shea Pal (Canastota, N.Y./Bishop Grimes). Sophomore attacker
Grace Detor (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) followed at the 52-second mark by converting a free-position shot.
The Dolphins scored the first six goals of the second quarter to take their first double-digit lead of the game. Hutchings started the streak just 45 seconds into the period by finishing off a dish from Karleski, who then fed Meneilly two minutes later. Meneilly found the back of the net again 46 seconds later after collecting a pass from Goodwin. Hutchings completed her hat trick with 10:02 left in the half off a dodge through the middle of the defense to the front of the crease. Goodwin got the Dolphins into double figures by converting a free-position shot in an extra-player situation with 8:19 remaining. One minute later, Karleski capped the jaunt by scoring from the front to the crease after receiving a pass from the left from Addonizio.
Reagan Bailey snapped Le Moyne's 8-0 run with 4:50 left in the half.
Goodwin put the Dolphins up 12-2 at halftime by finding the back of the net with 1:49 left on a free-position shot.
The teams alternated goals in the third quarter. Marielle Colalillo started the stretch at the 13:35 mark off a pass from Bailey. Meneilly answered back three minutes later with her third goal of the game after receiving a pass from Addonizio. Ernst countered 1:22 later to get the Chargers back within single digits. Pal extended the lead back to 10 with a free-position goal with 8:04 left and then Karleski sliced through the defense for her third goal of the day with 6:46 to go. Summer Castiglione capped the quarter's scoring with a free-position goal with 3:32 left.
Le Moyne pushed its lead to 12 for the first time with the first two goals of the fourth quarter. Meneilly netted her 26th goal of the season with 9:25 left off a free-position shot. Addonizio tallied her second goal of the contest with 8:04 remaining from the edge of the crease.
Gianna Caprioli ended New Haven's scoring with 1:49 left off a feed from Bailey.
Meneilly finished off the game's scoring with one second left off a pass from Goodwin.
Senior goalkeeper
Paige Crandall (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) earned the win between the pipes after making five saves. Gabby Buscemi, last year's NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year, took the loss after yielding 15 goals and making two saves over 43:02 of action.
Le Moyne (6-2, 2-1 NE10), which improves to 7-0 in West Haven, returns home to face Saint Michael's College on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
