Hershey, Pa. – The Le Moyne College women's tennis team registered a 4-0 win over Bloomsburg University on Sunday evening at the Hershey Racquet Club.

Fiona Pepper (Challapampa, Peru/Colegio Anglo Americano Prescott) improved to 8-2 on the season with a 6-2 win over Jen McDonald and Nicole Ilkovic. Freshmen
Alicia Alvarez (Madrid, Spain/IES Ortega y Gasset) and
Paula Casares (A Coruna, Spain/Colegio Maristas Cristo Rey) won their 12th consecutive match, 6-3, at the third spot over Sarah Capoferri and Alyssa Mazurek. Lexi Quackenbush and Luana Bernardi held a 5-4 lead over freshman
Stella Simeonova (Sofia, Bulgaria/National Gymnasium of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and senior
Francesca Lilliegren (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Alemán Humboldt Guayaquil) at the first position when the doubles point was clinched.
Le Moyne closed out the win by taking the first three matches of the singles competition to finish. At the second spot, Barona was a 6-1, 6-2 winner over McDonald. Alvarez tallied her ninth win of the year, 6-4, 6-1, over Bernardi at the fourth spot. Pepper registered her 10th consecutive victory by topping Capoferri at the sixth position, 6-1, 6-2. Simeonova, Casares and Lilliegren each were up by a set when the match was clinched.
Le Moyne (10-6) concludes its Spring season on Saturday, April 8 against Wilmington University.
