New Britain, C.T. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team will travel to Central Connecticut State University for two Northeast Conference matches this coming Friday, Nov. 1 at 6:00 P.M. and Saturday, Nov. 2 at 4:00 P.M. The Dolphins will look to take down the Blue Devils for the first time since joining the NEC and Division I in 2023.

Dolphins' Season:
Le Moyne comes into the match against CCSU with a 2-18 record on the year. The 'Phins lone conference win came in a four-set victory over Stonehill College at home on Saturday, Oct. 12. More recently, the squad dropped season sets against both Chicago State University and LIU on the road over the past two weeks. 

Offensively for the Dolphins, sophomore opposite hitter Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, O.N. / Napanee District Secondary School) leads with 137 kills while adding 152.0 points. Freshman outside hitter Jordyn Hamlin (Manahawkin, N.J. / Southern Regional) trails right behind with 136 kills while leading in points with 156.0 through 20 matches played. Junior setter Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) has a team-high 309 assists with freshman setter Skylar Jehlen (Rochester, N.Y. / Churchville-Chili) also putting up 226 assists along with 24 service aces this season. Defensively, freshman libero/DS Brooke Menke (St. Louis, M.O. / Visitation Academy) has recorded a team-high 162 digs while freshman middle hitter Anaya Rawlinson (Whitby, O.N. / Sinclair Secondary School) leads with 40.0 blocks for Le Moyne.

A Look at the Blue Devils:
CCSU has worked their way to a 3-17 record overall and a 1-7 conference record with six regular season matches remaining. The team's two non-conference wins came in back-to-back matches in mid-September as they took down Holy Cross in five sets before putting together a three-set sweep over Saint Peter's. The Blue Devils began NEC play 0-7 before coming away from their most recent matchup with a five-set victory over Mercyhurst; 25-22, 20-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-12.

On offense, Lauren Milani leads with 181 kills and 222.0 points for the Blue Devils through 20 matches played. Kylee Baranski has a team-high 307 assists while Larissa Hiemer has added an additional 208 for the squad. Defensively, Anabelle Denommé has tallied 202 digs while Kaylin Hadley has put up 39.0 blocks this season.

What's Next:
Le Moyne will return to The Heights for their final homestand of the season as they take on Saint Francis University at Ted Grant Court on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8-9.
