Syracuse N.Y.. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team finished out their final homestand of the season against SFU on Saturday afternoon. The Red Flash came away with a three-set victory; 25-16, 26-24, 25-8 to bring the Dolphins' record to 4-20 overall and 3-9 in NEC action this season.
For Le Moyne, freshman outside hitter Nina Salas (Austin, T.X. / McNeil) led with six kills, while freshman outside hitter Denali Louden (Murrieta, C.A. / Murrieta Mesa) and junior middle hitter Kayla Anstett (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) each added five more. Junior setter Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) led the team in assists with 11, followed closely behind by freshman setter Skylar Jehlen (Rochester, N.Y. / Churchville-Chili) who recorded another nine for the Dolphins. Freshman libero/DS Brooke Menke (St. Louis, M.O. / Visitation Academy) tallied a pair of service aces against the Red Flash, as well. On the defensive end, Louden led with five digs and tied with Anstett, freshman middle hitter Anaya Rawlinson (Whitby, O.N. / Sinclair Secondary School), and sophomore opposite hitter Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, O.N. / Napanee District Secondary School) in block assists with one apiece.
For Saint Francis, Kori McClure led with 12 kills while Korrin Burns added another 10. Alexandria Sappia tallied a match-high 25 assists with Burns recording six service aces against Le Moyne. Defensively, Maggie Hogan led with eight digs while Burns and Drew Wallech put up the team-high in blocks with two assists each in the win

The Dolphins will finish out the 2024 season in a pair of matches on the road against Mercyhurst starting next Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 P.M.
