RADFORD TAKES FINAL GAME OF SERIES AGAINST BASEBALL

Radford, Va. – The Le Moyne College baseball team fell to the Radford University Highlanders by a score of 19-3 in game three of the weekend series at Radford's Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium.

Radford, which dropped game one of the series to Le Moyne in extra innings by a score of 8-6 on Friday, claimed the final two games of the weekend to register a 2-1 series victory.

Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus), Brody Keneston (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa), Dewey Roden (Sherill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill/UMass Lowell), Wyatt Patchett (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva), Jason Boule (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse)) and Jack Cannon (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) each recorded a hit for Le Moyne during the series finale. Keneston drove in all three of Le Moyne's runs with a home run in the top of the seventh, which was his first of the season.

Radford tallied 19 hits during Sunday's game, led by shortstop Hunter Keen who provided three hits and five runs batted in, including a grand slam home run in the seventh inning.

Radford left-handed starting pitcher Jordan Irizarry collected his first win of the year after limiting the Dolphins to three hits, two walks and zero runs with six strikeouts in 5.0 innings pitched.

Le Moyne starting pitcher Jacob Crystal (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) went 4.0 innings and took his first loss of the season after allowing five earned runs with four strikeouts.

Senior right-hander Kennen Smith (Poughquag, N.Y./Arlington), who recorded his first win of the season during the season-opening series at Houston Christian, pitched 1.1 innings in relief, then redshirt-junior right-hander Billy Hoffacker (Erial, N.J./Timber Creek/Rowan College of South Jersey) got the final two outs of the sixth inning, before Roden and Sullivan each pitched an inning to finish the game.

Sullivan made his first collegiate pitching appearance during the game.
Redshirt-freshman James Musso (Auburn, N.Y./Skaneateles) made his Le Moyne debut in game two of the series on Friday, tossing 2.0 innings in relief.

The Le Moyne baseball team (2-5) will return to action on Friday when they begin a three-game weekend series at Saint Louis University (7-0).
