Syracuse, N.Y. – Central Connecticut State University (16-8, 5-4 NEC) claimed a 12-2 win over the Le Moyne College softball team (8-21, 2-7 NEC) Saturday at the Le Moyne Softball Complex to clinch the series victory.

Tracey Roman. "I'm confident we'll learn from these games and respond."
Central Connecticut State University's Ashlyn Desauline registered three runs including a homerun during the top of the second. Reagan Vunak also registered a homerun for her first at bat of the day putting a run on board for the Blue Devils. Meg Gorman and Jazmin Lasane both recorded two runs, and Paige Stringer, Abigail Mitchell, Kristina Buzek, and Brooke Fedison all registered one run each to add to the 12 run win.

Frankie Larobardiere (North Syracuse, N.Y. / Cicero-North Syracuse / Onondaga C.C.) doubled to left field, and freshman third baseman
Molly Wolf (Horseheads, N.Y. / Horseheads) entered the game to pinch run for her at second. Redshirt junior second baseman
Brooke Nicolaos (Liverpool, N.Y. / Cicero-North Syracuse) also entered to pinch hit as she reached on a fielder's choice to the pitcher off a bunt. Freshman pitcher
Arianna Exarchakis (Monroe, N.Y. / Monore-Woodbury) singled to left field putting Wolf in scoring position at third and Nicolaos advanced to second. Freshman outfielder
Kara Bacon (Warrensburg, N.Y. / Warrensburg) grounded out to second base, while Wolf scored, Nicolaos advanced to third and Exarchakis advanced to second (11-1).
Junior right fielder
Alyssa Dybacz (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / Charles W. Baker) drew a walk during the bottom of the fifth putting her on first. Junior second baseman
Dominique Rinaldi (Sayville, NY / Sayville) then singled to left center and Dybacz advanced to second. Wolf also drew a walk loading the bases. Nicolaos sacrifice lined out to center field bringing home Dybacz (12-2). Wolf, and Rinaldi would ultimately be left on base to end the game as the Blue Devils claimed the win 12-2.
The Dolphin's next game will be a three-game home series starting on Tuesday, April 2
nd at 2pm against FDU at the Le Moyne College Softball Complex.
