Syracuse, N.Y. – A non-conference matchup between the Le Moyne College baseball team and the UAlbany Great Danes resulted in a 4-4 tie after the contest was ended due to rain midway through the seventh inning on Tuesday at Dick Rockwell Field.
UAlbany led the Dolphins 4-0 after three innings, but Le Moyne, playing in its final home game of the season, responded with one run in the bottom of the fourth and three more in the fifth to tie the game.

Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in Le Moyne's first run with a base hit through the right side of the infield that scored junior designated hitter
Wyatt Patchett (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva), then Patchett lifted a three-run home run, his team-leading 11
th long ball of the season, over the left-center field wall in the fifth to tie the game at 4-4.
Patchett, who finished the contest with a game-high two runs and three RBI, has recorded at least 11 home runs in each of the last two seasons. With his home run on Tuesday, Patchett tied current Le Moyne head strength and conditioning coach Ben Gaal '07 for the eighth most home runs in program history with 24.

Dewey Roden (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill/UMass Lowell) completed four innings of work with four runs allowed and three strikeouts in his ninth start of the season, then left-handed reliever
Jack Cannon (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) held the Great Danes to one hit, zero walks and zero runs with two strikeouts in three innings in relief.
UAlbany right fielder John Vitucci and center fielder Luke Filippi both recorded two hits and a run scored for the visitors, while shortstop Cooper Loyal, first baseman Ryan Ferremi, designated hitter Jared Toby and catcher Thomas McElwee each provided an RBI.
Starting pitcher Michael DiMartino conceded zero hits, zero walks and zero runs with three strikeouts in two innings pitched for the Great Danes.
The Dolphins conclude their home slate with a 9-4-1 record at Dick Rockwell Field.
Le Moyne will close out the season with a three-game series at Norfolk State University beginning on Thursday at 3 p.m.
