Box Score Durham, N.H. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team traveled to take on the UNH Wildcats on Friday night. UNH took the first three sets to come away with their eighth win, dropping the Dolphins to 1-10 on the year.
For Le Moyne, freshman outside hitter Jordyn Hamlin (Manahawkin, N.J. / Southern Regional) led in kills with 11 while sophomore opposite hitter Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, O.N. / Napanee District Secondary School) and freshman middle hitter Anaya Rawlinson (Whitby, O.N. / Sinclair Secondary School) tallied another five for the 'Phins. Junior setter Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) and freshman setter Skylar Jehlen (Rochester, N.Y. / Churchville-Chili) recorded the team highs with eight assists each. Gerken also put up the most digs with six while Hamlin and freshman libero/DS Brooke Menke (St. Louis, M.O. / Visitation Academy) each added five in the match.
For UNH, Lindsey Kriendler put up a game-high 12 kills, while Rachel Grier (eight) and Meredith Hohnbaum (seven) followed closely behind. Ellery Singletary led the match in assists with 13 with Jessica Shattles also tallying double-digits with 10. On defense, Avery LePore led the Wildcats with seven digs while Shattles and Ezgi Karabulut each added another five in the win. Grier tallied a game-high five blocks with Hohnbaum, Kelly Kaufmann, and Marisa Armer each adding five more.
