Syracuse, N.Y. – Kloey Roos scored four goals to lead UAlbany to a 24-3 win over the Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team on Wednesday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
Roos opened the game's scoring just 16 seconds into the contest off a free-position shot. Courtney Rowe doubled the lead with her 25th goal of the season at the 11:53 mark off a pass from Paisley Cook in an player-down situation. Mikaela Mooney followed with her 21st goal with 10:36 to go. Cook tallied her seventh goal with 8:39 left and Gracie McCauley followed with her 16th just 21 seconds later. Roos netted her second of the game with 6:51 left and then Dylana Williams finished off a feed from Mooney 26 seconds later.
Freshman attacker
Emily Markovina (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) got the Dolphins on the scoreboard with a free-position goal with 5:35 left in the opening quarter.
Roos pushed UAlbany's lead to 9-1 with a pair of goals in a span of 28 seconds. She scored with 4:53 left after taking a pass from Rowe and then finished off a feed from Zareena Sorho.

Maddi Barney (Lorraine, N.Y./South Jefferson) tallied her 17th goal of the year with 3:42 left off a pass from junior attacker

The Great Danes scored three times in the last 1:40 of the first quarter to take a double-digit lead. Williams netted her 35th of the season off a free-position shot with 1:40 remaining. Emma Weaver followed 40 seconds later with her third of the year off a pass from Rowe. Sorho scored off a free-position shot as time expired for her first goal of the season.
UAlbany scored all four of the second quarter's goals. McCauley opened the scoring at the 13:42 mark and Cook followed with her eighth goal right off the ensuing draw. Just over five and one-half minutes later, Ravan Marsell scored her second goal of the season and she scored again 2:15 later after taking a pass from Delaney McManus.
The Great Danes scored each of the three goals in the third quarter. Kiran Smitka tallied her second goal of the season with 10:38 left off a feed from Sorho. Anasofia Cirincione netted her first goal in an extra-player situation with 4:59 left. Cirincione scored again with 55 seconds remaining.
Marsell opened the fourth quarter's scoring at the 13:36 mark after collecting a pass from McManus in an extra-player opportunity. Catrina Rowe tallied her first goal of the campaign with 10:21 to go off a dish from McManus.
Junior midfielder
Sara Hunter (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) tallied her 15th goal of the season with 8:15 to play.
Cirincione scored her third goal of the day with 5:23. Savannah Hodges posted her first marker of the year with 3:39 left off a feed from Margo Cunningham. Sam Moyer completed the game's scoring with 1:00 left off free-position shot.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Amanda Manfredi (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) made four saves (against 14 goals) over 39:25 between the pipes. Grace Cincebox earned the win for the Great Danes after making three saves (against two goals) in the first half.
Le Moyne (4-11) returns to NEC action on Saturday at Stonehill College at 12:00 p.m.
