Max Parker (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) tallied a career-high 14 strikeouts with two hits, two walks and one run allowed to lead the Le Moyne College baseball team to a 15-1 victory over the Stonehill College Skyhawks in seven innings on Thursday at Stonehill's Lou Gorman Field in the opening contest of a three-game Northeast Conference series.
Parker tossed all 7.0 innings and allowed just two walks against his 14 strikeouts to claim his third win of the season. Parker's 14 Ks are tied for the fourth-most in a single game in program history.

Derek Diaz (White Plains, N.Y./Iona Prep), sophomore outfielder
Jack Cannon (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder), and sophomore infielder
Ethan Farina (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa/Saint Rose) tallied two hits and three RBIs each at the plate for the Dolphins.
Cannon launched his fourth home run of the season, a solo shot in the top of the third, and finished with three runs scored, while senior outfielder
Wyatt Patchett (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) added two hits, including a triple, and three runs.
Sophomore catcher
Cooper Romich (North Chili, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) went 2 for 3 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs to improve his batting average to .354 through 15 starts.
Graduate infielder Jack Thorbahn provided Stonehill's lone run with a solo home run in the top of the second.
Le Moyne scored five runs in the third via a solo shot from Cannon, a two-run double from Farina, and RBI triple from Patchett, and a sacrifice fly from Romich to open up an 8-1 advantage.
Parker compiled eight strikeouts through the first three innings, and added two more in the bottom of the fourth.

Paulie Goodness (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon/Finger Lakes Community College) with a base hit to left field in the fifth, then came around to score following a single through the left side from senior infielder/catcher
Benji Ries (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) as Le Moyne extended its lead to 12-1.
Le Moyne scored three more runs in the seventh via a bases-loaded walk from freshman infielder
Tim Denet (West Harrison, N.Y./Iona Prep), a sacrifice fly from Ries, and an RBI single from Farina.
Parker recorded two strikeouts in the fifth, one in the sixth and one in the bottom of the seventh as he closed out the complete game win.
Le Moyne and Stonehill will resume the series for game two on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
