Syracuse, N.Y. – Six student-athletes from the Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team, as recently announced by the organization.
 
Redshirt freshman defenseman Jake Baker (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia), graduate student attackman Zachary Delaney (Syracuse, N.Y./Onondaga/Hobart), graduate student short-stick defensive midfielder Dom DelPonte (Upper Saddle, N.J./St. Joseph Regional), senior midfielder Isaac Frechette (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius), graduate student short-stick defensive midfielder Jack Sullivan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon/UIndy) and sophomore goalkeeper Lucas Winger (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) each earned the distinction for the Dolphins.

Winger, by virtue of his Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year accolades and being named All-America Honorable Mention by USA Lacrosse and the USILA, is a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and advanced to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

The 2025 Academic All-District® At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The at-large program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo and wrestling for men.

To earn CSC Academic All-District® honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, and play in 90% of his team's games or start in 66% of the games.

Twenty-six Northeast Conference student-athletes were named to the CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Team in total, with Le Moyne's six tying Saint Francis University (five volleyball, one men's golf) for the highest amount from a single institution. VMI and Detroit Mercy each had four men' honorees. Winger is one of only three NEC student-athletes on the All-America® ballot.
 
DelPonte, Frechette and Sullivan (at UIndy) also claimed CSC Academic All-District honors in 2023-24.
