Utica, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's indoor track & field teams set several program records at the Utica Winter Opener Friday evening.
Sophomore
Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) set a program record in the women's high jump event as the men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Utica Winter Opener Friday evening.
Locci, in her second year with the 'Phins, set the program record in the high jump event last year at the Brockport Invitational & Multi. She further distanced herself as the record holder today after placing 1
st overall after jumping a height of 1.69m/5' 6.5".
Men's Recap:
Sophomore
Robert Taddeo (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) set a personal record in the men's 200m event after placing 5
th overall and running a time of 22.93. Freshman
Andrew Gulde (Clarence Center, N.Y./Clarence) competed in the 200m for the first time in his collegiate career, placing 7
th overall and running a time of 23.16. Senior
Jordan Johnson (Plainfield, N.J./Timothy Christian School) placed 10
th overall after running a time of 23.22.
In the men's 400m event, junior
Christopher Moser (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) placed 3
rd overall, clocking in with a time of 51.67.
Jordan Johnson also competed in the 400m race, placing 8
th overall after running a time of 53.76.

Skylar Gravell (Malone, N.Y./Franklin Academy) placed 2
nd overall in the men's 500m, setting a personal best after running a time of 1:06.54. Freshman
Owen Mulholland (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) placed 4

th overall, clocking in with a time of 1:10.65.

Joseph Pecoraro (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Joseph's by the Sea), junior
Jacob Maklouf (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool), Mulholland and Ramadani placed 1
st overall in the men's 4x400m relay, finishing with a time of 3:34.06.
Junior
Trevon Walker (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placed 1
st overall for the first time in his collegiate career after earning a mark of 6.59m/21' 7.5" in the men's long jump event. Sophomore
Demetrius Wells (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) competed for the first time in his collegiate career, placing 10
th overall after earning a distance of 6.13m/20' 1.5".
Wells set a program record in the triple jump event, placing 1
st overall after earning a distance of 13.82m/45' 4.25". Sophomore
Carter DeRosa (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) placed 5
th overall after earning a mark of 12.71m/41' 8.5".
In the throwing events, senior
Adam Cuyler (Phoenix, N.Y./C.W. Baker) set a program record in the shot put after placing 4
th overall and earning a distance of 13.06m/42' 10.25". Junior
Joseph Doran (Camden, N.Y./Camden) also set a program record after earning a distance of 15.87m/52' 1" to round out the top-10 finishers of the day for the men's program.

Junior
Rosalie Vincent (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) placed 5
th overall in the women's 60m after running a time of 8.07. Freshman
Alexis Vincent (Wynantskill, N.Y./Averill Park) placed 7
th overall, clocking in with a time of 8.14.
Alexis Vincent set a personal best in the 200m event after placing 6
th overall and running a time of 26.98. Sophomore
Lilly Gilles (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) placed 7
th overall in the 400m event, earning a time of 1:08.75. Junior
Amanda Lowenguth (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) earned a 6

Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor/Monmouth) was back in her home town, competing in the 800m event, placing 6
th overall after running a time of 2:24.38. Junior
Angelina Rodriguez (Greenfield Center, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) set a personal best in the 1000m event, placing 2
nd overall after earning a time of 3:43.59.
The quartet of sophomore
Sara Edmonson (Leonardsville, N.Y./Mount Markham), sophomore
Kiersten Lamphier (Woodhull, N.Y./Jasper-Troupsburg), freshman
Lyla Dufek (San Marcos, Calif./San Marcos) and Gilles competed in the 4x200m relay, placing 3
rd overall after finishing in a time of 1:59.17.
Gonzalez-Rivera, Locci, Lowenguth and freshman
Adelle Robinson (Temperance, Mich/Temperance Bedford) competed in the 4x400 relay, placing 2
nd overall after running a time of 4:15.89.
The Dolphins had two top-3 finishers in the women's long jump event. Senior
Lilly Capria (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) set a program record, beating her previous record after earning a distance of 5.25m/17' 2.75".
Alexis Vincent finished 3
rd overall after earning a mark of 5.24m/17' 2.25", a personal best. Capria also competed in the triple jump event, placing 3
rd overall after earning a distance of 10.59m/34' 9" to round out the top-10 finishers of the day for the 'Phins.
What's Next:
Both the men's and women's track & field teams will compete in the RIT Friday Meet next Friday, January 23
