DOLPHINS DROP FINAL NON-CONFERENCE MATCHUP

Syracuse N.Y. - The Le Moyne volleyball team swept Siena University on Tuesday night at the Ted Grant Court at the Donald J. Savage '51 Arena. The Saints took the match by set scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Dolphins went down early, trailing 10-5 before calling a timeout to restrategize. The regrouping worked, as Le Moyne went on to score six of the next eight points. However, the Saints went on a four point run to kill the Dolphins momentum as they went on to win the set 25-17. The next two sets saw costly mistakes in rotations and subsistence cost the Dolphins. These gifted Sienna with free points and energy as the Saints swiftly took down Le Moyne in the remaining two sets by a combined score of 50-23.

Le Moyne is on the road against NAC opponent Chicago State University in Chicago on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m..
