Syracuse, N.Y. - A goal scored by redshirt junior forward
Felix Ludemann (Wrestedt, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen) in a 3-0 win over Stonehill has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.
With just over 30 minutes remaining in the game, the Dolphins controlled possession as redshirt junior defender
Vito Kreuzpaintner (Munich, Bavaria, Germany/FOS Nord/UNC Wilmington) near the midfield line. Advancing the ball forward, he played a pass towards the feet of graduate student midfielder
Antonino Pagano (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Syracuse/Coastal Carolina), who dummied the ball through his legs to Ludemann standing just behind Pagano.
Ludemann quickly slid Pagano in behind the back line of the Purple Eagles, who crossed it to the penalty spot as Ludemann ran onto the pass, slotting the ball into the bottom right corner.Â
Ludemann netted two goals against Stonehill, and currently leads the NEC in total goals (8) and total points (17).
The Dolphins are back in action this Sunday as they are set to take on the league-leading FDU Knights.
