BRIAN NOLASCO NAMED ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FOR NCAA COMPLIANCE

Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College Assistant Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation Phil Brown has announced the hiring of Brian Nolasco as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.
 
Nolasco comes to Le Moyne after three and one-half years as the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Institutional Support Services at Central Michigan University.
 
With the Cippewas, Nolasco oversaw institutional support services including compliance, academics, financial aid and career services along with maintaining a comprehensive program to ensure compliance of coaches, staff, student-athletes and athletics interests with the NCAA, the Mid-American Conference and university rules and regulations. He also served as CMU's sport administrator for the Chippewa baseball, gymnastics and women's soccer programs.
 
Prior to his time at Central Michigan, Nolasco served five years in the compliance office at Southern Mississippi, moving from the compliance coordinator to the director of compliance to the assistant athletic director for compliance.

He began his career as a volunteer compliance assistant at Bradley and served an internship in the athletic department at Texas Rio Grande.
 
Nolasco received his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2016 and his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in political science and managerial accounting from Coe (Iowa) College in 2013.
 
At Coe, Nolasco was a four-year member of the baseball team and spent one year on the football team. He earned academic all-conference honors in 2012-13.
