Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior forward Ashley Buragas (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay/Mineral Area College) has been named the Le Moyne Athlete of the Week, presented by CADimensions Inc.
 
Buragas and the Dolphins went 2-0 on the week after defeating Wagner at home 62-49 on Thursday, and adding a victory on the road 62-50 against Saint Francis on Saturday.
 
For the week, Buragas averaged 18.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.5 spg, shooting 50.0% from the field and 88.8% from the free throw line, leading the 'Phins in scoring and rebounding.
 
Against Saint Francis, she scored 23 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, earned 3 assists while adding a steal and a block to her tally. Against Wagner, she finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
 
Buragas was also named an NEC Prime Performer for her efforts throughout the week.
