Syracuse, N.Y. - Le Moyne College's Department of Athletics will celebrate Giving Day 2026 on Thursday, March 5, as the Dolphins community comes together in support of Le Moyne's 375 Division I student-athletes.
The Dolphin Athletic Association (DAA) has set ambitious goals for 2026 of 1,200 athletic donors and $500,000 raised in support of Le Moyne Athletics.
Giving Day, a 24-hour celebration of philanthropy, begins at midnight on March 5 and provides alumni, families, friends and fans the opportunity to directly impact the student-athlete experience at Le Moyne.
"As we continue building momentum at the Division I level, Giving Day is a powerful demonstration of our community's belief in Le Moyne Athletics," said Assistant Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation
Phil Brown. "Participation is critical. Every donor strengthens our foundation and directly supports the experience of our student-athletes, whether in competition, in the classroom or in the community."
During Giving Day, donors may designate their gifts to any specific sport. Participation totals and dollars raised will be tracked in real time throughout the day, with matches and challenges available to amplify impact.
Funds raised on Giving Day support initiatives that enhance the student-athlete experience on "the Heights," including recruiting, travel, training resources, leadership development and academic support.
Giving Day officially begins at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5 and runs through 11:59 p.m.
