Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College softball's sophomore pitcher Isabella Kwashek (West Deptford, N.J. / West Deptford) has been named the NEC Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance during the Dolphin's three-game series victory over New Haven this past weekend.
Kwashek recorded the decision in all three games, going 2-1 over the weekend with a team-best 0.55 ERA through 12.2 innings pitched. She made one start and appeared in two relief spots, allowing just one earned run on eight hits and four walks while striking out three batters.
In the team's 9-0 win over the Chargers on Saturday, Kwashek tossed a complete game shutout allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out two batters.
Along with Kwashek, junior outfielder Sydney Nesci (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) was named a Prime Performer, as well.
Nesci went 6-11 (.545) at the plate with one home run, two doubles, and a walk through three starts. She drove in one run while coming around to score a team-high five times.

Le Moyne will head to the state capital for a non-conference 2:00 p.m./4:00 p.m. doubleheader at UAlbany tomorrow, Mar. 25.
