Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College women's basketball's junior forward Ashley Buragas (Hopewell Junction, N.Y. / John Jay / Mineral Area College) and freshman guard Peyton Dincher (Jersey Shore, Pa. / Jersey Shore) were each named to an NEC All-Conference team as voted upon by the league's 10 head coaches and announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Buragas earned a nod on the All-Conference Second Team in her first year at Le Moyne, becoming the second Dolphin to earn that spot after Haedyn Roberts last season. Dincher was named to the All-Rookie Team and became the second 'Phin in as many years to earn the accolade (Eli Clark in 2025).
Through the 2025-26 regular season, Buragas was named an NEC Prime Performer nine times and led the team as their sole double-digit scorer with 12.9 points per game while starting in all 31 team contests. She shot a team-high 160-310 (.516) from the field and also led the 'Phins with 7.1 rebounds per game and total blocks with 11. She tied for second in assists with 65 (Jessica Wangolo), third in minutes played per game with 26.8, and tied for third in steals with 23 (Sierra Linnin) this season.
Buragas finished the NEC slate sitting fourth in the conference in scoring with 15.9 points per game, second in the league in field-goal percentage (.521), third in rebounds per game (8.1), fifth in free-throw rate on 80 attempts (.800), and tied for 16th in assists (2.2). Buragas also tied Sydney Postell and Praise Matthews for 18th in blocks per conference game with 0.4.
Through eight starts and 23 additional appearances off the bench, Dincher averaged 6.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 18.5 minutes per game this season. Dincher led the Dolphins with a .376 (44-117) three-point percentage and sat second of all qualified players with an .882 free throw rate on 34 attempts. Dincher finished the conference schedule tied for 16th in the NEC in three-pointers made with 1.2 per game.
Le Moyne will travel to Wagner for the first round of the NEC Tournament at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 9.
