Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College senior Paula Casares (A Coruna, Spain/Colegio Maristas Cristo Rey) and junior Ella Fernando (Manchester, England/Stonyhurst College) have been named to the NEC All-Conference Second Team, as voted upon by the head coaches and announced by the conference office on Friday morning.

Casares and Fernando are the first Dolphins to be recognized by the NEC with postseason honors.

The duo teamed together at the top doubles spot in each of Le Moyne's final 13 matches and registered a record of 6-4 to go along with three unfinished matches, two of which they were one game shy of closing out. Casares and Fernando went 4-1 against NEC foes, including wins in their first four decisions.

The Dolphins finished the year 4-12, including 2-5 in NEC action, after advancing to the NEC semifinals for the first time.
