Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College head men's and women's swimming and diving coach Adam Zaczkowski '04 has announced his resignation after accepting the head coaching position at the Virginia Military Institute.

Zaczkowski served as the second head coach in the history of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs after being elevated to the position in May 2022.

Zaczkowski guided the Dolphins through their final season in the Northeast 10 Conference and their first three in the NEC. The Dolphins earned eight medals at 2023 NE10 Championship. The Dolphins claimed four medals, including a gold, at the 2024 NEC Championships. They collected four medals, including a pair of silvers, at the 2025 NEC Championships. At the 2026 NEC Championships, the Dolphins claimed 14 medals, including two golds. The men's team earned its first win over a fellow Division I program at Canisius on January 11, 2025 and added wins over LIU and Canisius in January 2026, while the women's team earned its first Division I victory on January 24, 2026 against Canisius.

The men's and women's teams have each ranked highly in the conference and department academically under Zaczkowski, with the women's team earning the NEC's Team GPA award for having the highest grade point averages in their sport in 2025 and 2026 and the men's team claiming the accolade in 2026. Each team has had the maximum four CSC Academic All-District® selections each of the last two years.
