2021-2022 Women’s Team Captain
2021 – Junior: Did not see any action due to limited opportunities from pandemic.
2020 – Sophomore: At Northeast 10 Conference Championships, Melfi again finished 8th in the 100 Breaststroke, 16th in the 200 Breaststroke and was 22nd in the 50 Freestyle. In relays, she was on the 6th place 400 Medley A and 200 Medley A and the 5th place 200 Freestyle A. At ECAC Championships, she finaled in both relays she swam, finishing 10th in the 400 Medley and 11th in the 200 Medley.
2019 – Freshman: At Northeast 10 Conference Championships, Melfi finished 8th in the 100 Breaststroke, just missed finals in 19th in the 200 Breaststroke and was top 30 in the 50 Freestyle. In relays. She was on the 7th place 400 Medley A, 8th place 200 Medley A and 16th place 200 Freestyle B.
Personal: An Environmental Science Systems major and an applied statistics minor. She is a member of the Dean’s List, Biology Honors Society, Pi Epsilon, a McDevitt Scholar, a STEMpower mentor and a NCAA Division II Academic Achiever. Prior to Le Moyne, Melfi set the Frontier League record in the 100 Breaststroke in high school. She was a member of the Watertown YMCA Blue Sharks. Parents are Rick and Kelly. Brothers, Joey is attends SUNY Cortland and Riley is still in high school.
