Biography
2021 – Junior: Did not see any action due to limited opportunities from pandemic.
2020 – Sophomore: At Northeast 10 Conference Championships, Sommo finished top 20 in the 100 and 200 Backstrokes and 50 Freestyle. In relays, she finished 5th on the 200 Freestyle A. On the Bs, she finished 11th in the 200 Medley and 14th in the 400 Freestyle. At ECAC’s, Jordyn finished 12th on the 200 Freestyle Relay.
2019 – Freshman: At Northeast 10 Conference Championships, Sommo finished 16th in the 100 backstroke and finished top 25 in the 200 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle. In B relays, she finished 15th in the 200 and 400 Medleys and 16th in the 200 and 400 Freestyles.
Personal: A Nursing major with a minor in Science. Prior to Le Moyne, Sommo was a member of the National Honor Society and achieved accelerated regents and high honors in high school. She finished 7th at NYSPHSAA Championships in the 200 Medley Relay. She was a member of the Albany Starfish. Parents are Patrick and Carolyn. Sister, Brooke is in high school.
