Le Moyne College Athletics

Derrick Miller joined the coaching staff in 2022 as a graduate assistant, after a three-year playing career with the Dolphins. Prior to Le Moyne, Miller attended and played at Hudson Valley Community College. 

As a Dolphin in 2021, Miller hit .284 with three home runs and slugged .506. In 2022, Miller batted .272 with 24 RBI. Miller was also a defensive mainstay at third base, only committing 10 errors in three years, totaling a .950 fielding percentage. Miller was named Le Moyne Athlete of the Week in the final week of the 2022 season, where he went 8-for-12 with a home run in the Dolphins regional run. 

In two years at Hudson Valley, Miller hit .346 with five home runs and 45 RBI. 

Miller graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing. He is currently pursuing an MBA in leadership and administration and resides in Rome, New York.
