Biography

2023 – Freshman: Made a team-high 17 appearances on the mound with one start and 16 relief outings… appeared in three NCAA Championship contests during Le Moyne’s run to the East Super Regional… compiled a 3-2 record and a team-best three saves with 45 strikeouts in 37.2 innings pitched… made his collegiate debut in relief against Goldey-Beacom (Feb 17) … recorded his first career save during a 4-1 win over Bridgeport (Feb 25), allowing three hits, zero runs and zero walks with two strikeouts in 4.0 innings of work… earned his first career win after tallying five strikeouts and one earned run in 3.0 innings at Felician (Mar 12) … recorded the final six outs with two strikeouts and one hit allowed during a 3-2 win over Seton Hill (Mar 16) for his seconds save of the campaign… registered three strikeouts in two scoreless relief innings against Saint Anselm (Mar 24) … was credited with the win after tossing two scoreless innings with three strikeouts in an 11-8 victory over Franklin Pierce (Apr 2) … recorded four strikeouts with zero runs allowed in 2.0 innings of work during a 7-3 win over Saint Rose (Apr 15) … produced his third save of the year in the third game of the Pace series (Apr 22), tossing a scoreless bottom of the ninth to secure a 3-1 win for the ‘Phins… made his first postseason appearance during the opening game of NE10 Championship Weekend, delivering two perfect innings in the eighth and ninth frames to close out an 8-0 win for the ‘Phins over Franklin Pierce (May 11) … completed 1.0 inning of work in relief during Le Moyne’s 8-7 extra-inning victory over Queens (May 18) in the first game of the NCAA East Regional #2… tallied a season-best six strikeouts in 3.2 innings pitched to earn the win in Le Moyne’s 6-5 victory over Goldey-Beacom in the East Regional #2 title game, helping send the ‘Phins to their first appearance in the East Super Regional, and their first East Region Championship appearance since 2012… Swiencicki made his first career start in game two of the East Super Regional at #13/10 Southern New Hampshire (May 27), tossing a season-high 4.0 innings and limiting the top-seeded Penmen to two runs with four strikeouts.

Personal – A 2022 graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute where he was a member of the National Honor Society and a WNY Scholar Athlete… during his senior season, Swiencicki compiled a perfect 8-0 record with 77 strikeouts, a 1.04 ERA with a no-hitter in 54 innings pitched, helping lead St. Joseph’s to a Monsignor Martin League Championship and an appearance in the state tournament… following the season, Swiencicki was named First Team All-Catholic, First Team All-Western New York, and was nominated for the Colpoys-Barrows Cup, which is awarded to the WNY Player of the Year… majoring in business analytics… son of Paul and Christina… has a brother named Paul.
