2023: Redshirt Junior - Colonno had a successful inaugural season at the Division I level setting two of his personal bests during the year while competing in six different meets. He opened the year at the 2023 Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sept.2) where he placed 39th in the 6K, running a time of 23:08.5. Prior to the Northeast Conference Championships, Colonno competed in the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 14) in the 8K, running a time of 27:51.6, a personal best. Two weeks later, he participated in the Northeast Conference Championships (Oct. 28) competing in the 8K and earning a time of 29:27.6, placing 67th. The following weekend, Colonno competed in the Saint Francis University Red Flash Rally (Nov.5), setting another personal record for the 6K after finishing 15th overall with a time of 22:05.0.
2022: Redshirt Sophomore – In the team’s season-opening race, the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sep 3), Colonno placed 42nd with a time of 23:53.9 at the six-kilometer course… finished 39th at the eight-kilometer Hamilton College Invitational (Oct 8) with a time of 29:55.1… ran a time of 29:55.1 at the eight-kilometer race for the Northeast-10 Championship, good for 97th place.
2021: Redshirt Freshman – Colonno scored for the first time at the Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational (Oct 2), finishing 13th at the eight-kilometer course with a time of 32:40.0 to help the Dolphins to a first-place finish… placed 42nd at the Hamilton College Invitational (Oct 9) with a time of 30:51.4 at the eight-kilometer course… ran a time of 31:25 at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship.
Personal – A 2020 graduate of Bethlehem High School... majoring in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship... son of Adriana and Dan Colonno... Alex competes for the Track and Field team as well... has earned PRs of 15:48 in the 5000m, 10:38 in the 3200m and 4:46 in the 1600m. Alex is a Business Management & Leadership Major as well as a Business Marketing Major.
