2025: Senior - Competed in 5 races as a senior, including one top-25 finish at 6k. Logged season bests of 22:40.3 in the 6k and 29:28.5 in the 8k, with best placements of 23rd (6k) and 75th (8k). Opened the season by finishing 23rd in the 6k at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational on Aug. 30 (22:40.3). Ran an 8k season-best time of 29:28.5 at the Hoffmann Invitational on Sept. 20, then closed the season with an 8k best placement of 75th at the NEC XC Championships on Nov. 1 (31:15.8).
 
2024: Junior - Competed in 5 races during the season, including 1 top-25 finish in a 6k. Opened the year by placing 18th in the 6k at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational on Aug. 31, finishing in 23:03.5. Posted a season-best 8k time of 30:03.1 while placing 26th at the Daemen Alumni Invitational on Sep. 14, then closed the season with an 8k time of 33:51.0 at the NEC XC Championships on Nov. 1.

2023: Sophomore - In his first year with the Dolphins and at the Division I level, Jake saw himself earn a top-20 finish. At the first event of the year, the 2023 Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sept. 2), Roman competed in the 6k running in a time of 23:59.1 and placing 49th overall. Two weeks later at the 2023 Yellowjacket XC Invitational (Sept.16), he competed on the eight-kilometer course completing the race in 30:47.9. At the Lehigh Paul Short Run (Sept. 30), he competed in the 8k again, finishing in a time of 30:22.5. In the final meet before his first Northeast Conference Championship, the Dolphins travelled Canisius to participate in the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 14). Roman ran the 8k in a time of 29:48.4, his best time for the 8k this season. At the Northeast Conference Championships (Oct. 28), Jake competed in the 8k again, running in a time of 32:54.5 and placing 86th overall. The 'Phins would end their season at the Saint Francis University Red Flash Rally (Nov. 5), where Jake set another personal best, running the 6k in a time of 22:26.5 and placing 17th overall, his best finish of the season.

2022: Freshman (SUNY Morrisville) – Made his collegiate debut at Le Moyne’s Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sep 3), navigating the six-kilometer course in 25:10.3 for a 58^th-place finish… placed 36^th at the Finger Lakes CC Bruce Bridgeman Invitational (Sep 17) with an eight-kilometer time of 35:42.3… Roman scored at the Penn State Abington Invitational (Sep 24), as he was the third Mustang to cross the finish line at the eight-kilometer race with a time of 31:36.4, helping Morrisville to a fourth-place finish out of 19 teams… During Morrisville’s first-place finish at the Cazenovia College Invitational (Oct 1), Roman finished in 22^nd… he placed 17^th at the eight-kilometer United East Conference Championships (Oct 29) with a time of 30:49.24 to help the Mustangs to a first-place finish… Roman was named to the Spring Student-Athlete Honor Roll, and earned United East Conference Scholar-Athlete recognition.

Personal – A 2022 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School... Roman studied Computer Information Systems while at SUNY Morrisville.
