2023: Redshirt Junior - In the first cross country meet of 2023 and inaugural Division I season, Bartolotta finished 1st in the 6k, clocking in at 20:06.5 (season best), leading the Dolphins to a 2nd place finish at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sept. 2). Ahead of his first NEC Championship, Bartolotta finished 44th in the 8k with a time of 26:42.6 at the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 14). At the Northeast Conference Championships, he finished 34th in the 8k with a time of 27:32.5. He also finished in 1st place during the Saint Francis University Red Flash Rally (Nov. 5) 6k, an invitational that saw the Dolphins place 2nd.

2022: Redshirt Sophomore – At the annual Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sep. 3), hosted by the Dolphins, Bartolotta finished second with a time of 21:00.7 to guide the men’s team to a third-place finish… Bartolotta earned his third career first-place finish with a time of 26:20.7 on the eight-kilometer course at the Hamilton College Invitational (Oct 8). His winning time helped the Dolphins to a second-place finish at the event… at the NCAA East Region Cross Country Championship (Nov 19), Bartolotta placed 29^th to help the Dolphins to a 12^th-place finish.

2021: Redshirt Freshman – Bartolotta finished first at the season-opening Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sep 4), helping lead the Dolphins to a third-place finish at the event. In his collegiate cross country debut, he navigated the six-kilometer course in 19:38.0 to win the race by over nine seconds… at the Siena College Invitational (Sep 11), he finished 14^th to lead the men’s team to a sixth-place finish… Bartolotta placed fourth to lead the Dolphins to a ninth-place finish at Roberts Wesleyan’s Harry F. Anderson Invitational (Sep 25), running the eight-kilometer course in 23:45.5 which was almost one minute faster than his time at Siena… during the team’s final regular season event before the conference championship, the Hamilton College Invitational (Oct 9), Bartolotta came up with another first-place finish to help the Dolphins finish third in the event. At the Hamilton Invitational, he completed the eight-kilometer course in 26:06.0 to win by over 31 seconds… Bartolotta earned Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team honors after placing 15^th at the NE10 Conference Championship (Oct 24), hosted by Saint Anselm. His time of 26:39.0 at the eight-kilometer course helped the Dolphins finish eighth at the event… at the NCAA East Region Cross Country Championship, Bartolotta placed 30^th to lead the Dolphin men to an 11^th place finish. In his regional debut, he covered the 10-kilometer course in 33:09.3.

Personal – Matthew Joseph Bartolotta graduated from West Genesee High School in 2020... studies Computer Science in the classroom, focuses on the distance side of Track and Field and runs Cross Country. Matt focuses on the 800m and the 1500m on the Track... some of Bartolotta's PRs include: 4:11 in the 1500m, 1:59 in the 800m, 9:45 in the 3200m and 15:38 in the 5k... Matthew’s running prowess has earned him 4 appearances at the NYSPHSAA Track and Field/ Cross Country Championships.
