2025: Junior - Competed in 5 meets, recording 1 top-25 finish in the 6K. Opened the season by running 20:40.8 to place fifth in the 6K at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational on Aug. 30. Posted an 8K season-best time of 26:46.8 at the Canisius Alumni Classic on Oct. 18, then logged an 8K season-best placement of 33rd at the NEC XC Championships on Nov. 1 (27:22.3).

2024: Sophomore - Competed in all 7 races during the season and recorded 3 top-25 finishes (2 at 6k and 1 at 8k). Ran 22:19.0 to place 10th in the 6k at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational on Aug. 31, then placed 12th in the 8k at the Daemen Alumni Invitational on Sep. 14. Posted a best 8k time of 26:52.0 at the Canisius Alumni Classic on Oct. 19 and closed the season by recording a best 6k time of 20:40.2 while placing 10th at the SFU Red Flash Rally on Nov. 9. Also placed 38th in the 8k at the NEC XC Championships on Nov. 1.

2023: Freshman - In his first season with the Dolphins, Purvis saw himself earn two top-25 finishes. He started the season running in the 6k at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sept. 2), finishing 16th overall in a time of 21:51.0. The following three meets, Mike would compete in the eight-kilometer course. At the 2023 Yellowjacket XC Invitational (Sept. 16), he ran the 8k in 29:17.0. At the Lehigh Paul Short Run (Sept. 30) he ran the 8k in 28:36.7. The meet before his first Northeast Conference Championship, he ran a personal best 26:11.8 in the 8k at the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 14) and placed 29th overall. At the NEC Championships, he competed in the 8k running a time of 28:27.7 and finishing 51st overall. The 'Phins ended their season the following weekend as they competed in the Saint Francis University Red Flash Rally (Nov. 5). Purvis was back to the six-kilometer course, where he set another personal best with a time of 21:11.8.
