2023-24 Outdoor: Junior - Gibson would compete in seven different invitationals and set three personal records, while also earning six top-5 finishes that included a 1st place finish in the 3000m SC. Opening the year at the West Point Army Open (Mar. 15), Jack ran the 5000m in a time of 15:56.92 and placing 8th overall. Two weeks later, he would run the 3000m SC at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational (Mar. 29) in a time of 9:43.08 and placed 5th overall. At the Utica Pioneer Spring Invite (Apr. 6), Gibson ran the 5000m in a time of 15:40.06 and placed 4th overall. Jack finished 1st overall in the 3000m SC at the Brockport Multi & Invitational (Apr. 14) with a time of 9:40.58, and also ran the 4x400 in a time of 3:48.48 and placed 12th overall. Jack set a personal record in the 5000m at the UB Alumni Invitational (Apr. 20), where he placed 8th overall with a time of 15:34.48. He set another personal record in the 1500m at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic (Apr. 27) with a time of 4:03.96 and placed 4th overall, while also running the 4x800 in a time of 8:37.78 and placed 2nd overall. Jack set yet another personal record at the Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 3000m SC in a time of 9:24.93 and placed 4th overall, and also ran the 4x800 in a time of 8:04.22 placing 9th overall.

2023-24 Indoor: Junior - In his third season with the Dolphins and the first at the Division I level, Gibson set two personal records in the 3000m and the Mile, while also earning a 2nd place finish in the 3000m. The Dolphins opened their season at the Greg Pages Relays & Multi (Dec. 1), where he would run the Mile in a time of 9:18.37 and placed 11th overall. At the West Point Open (Jan. 6), Jack would run the Mile in a time of 4:51.07 and placed 10th overall. A week later at the Southern Tier Invite (Jan. 13), he ran the 3000m in a time of 9:57.70 and finished 15th overall. Two weeks later, he would compete in the Utica Blue & Orange Invite and Multi (Jan. 26) where he ran the 5000m in a time of 17:40.57 earning himself a 7th place finish. Gibson would set a personal record in the Mile at the Brockport Invitational & Multi (Feb. 2) with a time of 4:39.97 and placed 19th overall, while also running the 4x400 in a time of 3:49.51 placing 9th overall. At the RIT February Friday Invitational (Feb. 9), he ran the 3000m in a time of 9:26.08 earning himself a 2nd place finish, his best finish of the season. At his first Northeast Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship (Feb. 18), he set another personal record in the 3000m, crossing the finish line in a time of 9:13.76 and placing 21st overall.

2022-23 Outdoor: Sophomore - Jack would compete in five different invitationals during the 2022-23 outdoor track & field season, setting a personal record in the 800m and also placed 3rd overall in the 3000m SC. Beginning his season at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational (Apr. 14), Jack would run the 3000m SC in a time of 10:10.33 and placed 7th overall. Two weeks later, Jack and the Dolphins would travel to compete in the Brockport Multi & Invitational (Apr. 14), where he ran the 5000m in a time of 16:51.81 and finished 12th overall. Gibson set his personal record in the 800m at the Cortland Classic (Apr. 21) crossing the finish line in a time of 2:11.09 and placing 29th overall, while also running the 3000m SC in a time of 10:17.78 earning himself a 3rd place finish. At the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic (Apr. 29), he ran the 1500m in a time of 4:19.80 and finished 28th overall. At the Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 5), he would run the 3000m SC in a time of 10:06.02 and placed 6th overall. 

2022-23 Indoor: Sophomore - In his second season with the Dolphins, Gibson would compete in seven different invitationals that included three top-5 finishes. Opening the year at the West Point Open (Jan. 6), Jack ran the 3000m in a time of 10:08.91 and finished 13th overall. The following meet at the Spartan Invitational (Jan. 13) he ran the Mile in a time of 4:50.14 and placed 28th overall, while also competing in the 4x400, where he ran a time of 3:53.74 and finished 15th overall. At the Winter Welcome Back (Jan. 21), he would run the 5000m in a time of 16:54.70 earning himself a 5th place finish. Gibson would compete in the 3000m at the Utica Blue & Orange Invite and Multi (Jan. 27) finishing with a time of 9:36.98, and ran the 4x400 in a time of 3:52.56 placing 9th overall. Jack and the Dolphins traveled to the Brockport Multi (Feb. 3), where he ran the Mile in a time of 4:45.93 placing 20th overall, and ran the DMR in a time of 11:42.41 and placed 5th overall. Ahead of the NE10 Championships, he would compete at the RIT February Friday Invitational (Feb. 10), where he would run the 3000m in a time of 9:26.51 earning himself a 4th place finish. At the Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 16), Jack ran the 5000m in a time of 16:23.76 and placed 15th overall. 

2021-22 Outdoor: Freshman - Jack would compete in three different invitationals during the 2021-22 outdoor track & field season, which included him setting a personal best in the 10,000m. Gibson set his personal record at the Jim Taylor Invitational (Mar. 25), where he ran the 10,000m in a time of 35:49.74 and finished 23rd overall. A week later he was competing in the Hamilton College Continental Invitational (Apr. 2), where he would run the 5000m in a time of 16:46.73 and finished 24th overall. His final meet this season was at the Cortland Red Dragon Open & Multi (Apr. 9) where he ran the 3000m SC in a time of 10:40.09 and placed 6th overall.

2021-22 Indoor: Freshman - In his first season with the Dolphins, Jack placed in six different invitationals which included two top-10 finishes. Gibson would run the Mile at the Utica Winter Open (Jan. 15) in a time of 4:51.97. The following meet at the Highlander Invitational (Jan. 22), he ran the 3000m in a time of 9:41.77 and finished 20th overall, while also running 4x800 in a time of 9:07.88 and finished 6th overall. At the Utica Blue & Orange Invitational (Jan. 29), he would run the 5000m in a time of 16:48.04 and finished 8th overall. Gibson would run the 3000m at the Brockport Multi (Feb. 4) in a time of 9:42.37 and finished 12th overall. At the RIT February Friday Invitational (Feb. 11) Jack would run in the Mile, finishing with a time of 4:48.51 and placing 25th overall. At the Deneault Invitational 2022 (Feb. 19), he ran the 3000m in a time of 9:34.18 and finished 12th overall.

Personal - Jack Harry Gibson was born to Jacqueline and Harry Gibson, graduated from Central Valley Academy where he was a League and Section Champion in the Steeplechase and will be a freshman Dolphin this year.

Jack will be majoring in Computer Science as well as Minoring in Cyber Security while competing on the distance side of Track and Field and Cross Country. Gibson has earned himself PRs of 4:45 in the 1600m, 10:11 in the 3200m, 10:51 in the 3000m Steeplechase and 17:55 in the 5000m.
