2023-24 Outdoor: Freshman - Gravell would only compete at the West Point Army Open (Mar. 15) during the 2023-24 outdoor track & field season. He ran the 800m in a time of 2:09.00 placing 13th overall, and also ran the 400m in a time of 54.89 placing 23rd overall.

2023-24 Indoor: Freshman - In his first season with the Dolphins, Skylar would compete in eight different invitationals specializing in sprint events. He would open his account at the Greg Pages Relays & Multi (Dec. 1) where he would run the 500m in a time of 1:13.86 and finished 19th overall, while also running the 4x400 in a time of 1:13.86 and placing 19th overall. Gravell would compete in the same events during the Southern Tier Invite (Jan. 13), running the 500m in a time of 1:12.76 and 11th overall, and running the 4x400 in a time of 3:43.45 and 6th overall. He would set a personal record at the Hamilton Continental Invitational (Jan. 19) in the 200m with a time of 24.90 placing 13th overall, and also ran the 400m in a time of 55.85 and placing 8th overall. A week later Skylar and the Dolphins traveled to the Utica Blue & Orange Invite and Multi (Jan. 26) where he ran the 400m in a time of 54.78 placing 20th, and ran the 4x200 in a time of 1:37.92 and placed 5th. At the Brockport Invitational & Multi (Feb. 2) Skylar ran the 400m in a time of 53.90 finishing 25th overall as well as the 4x400 in a time of 3:45.50 and placing 7th overall. He would set a personal record a week later at the RIT February Friday Invitational (Feb. 9) in the 400m, finishing with a time of 53.64 and 8th overall. He also ran in the 4x400 in a time of 3:43.21 and placed 2nd overall. At his first Northeast Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 18), Gravell set yet another personal record in the 500m with a time of 1:09.59 and placing 20th overall, while also running the DMR in a time of 10:42.28 and placing 8th overall. Skylar would qualify for the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, where he ran the third leg of the 4x400, finishing with a time of 3:21.52 and placing 10th overall.
