Aliyah Wade enters her third year with the Dolphins softball program. Serving as the teams graduate assistant for the 2020 and 2021 seasons, Wade will remain on staff as an  assistant coach. Wade primarily works with the Dolphins outfield defense and the program’s slap-hitters. Off the field she manages many of the program's administrative duties including travel logistics, NCAA compliance paperwork, inventory, and game day management. She completed her masters degree at Le Moyne college in May 2021.

Wade graduated with a BA from the University at Albany in 2019. She was a three year starter for the University at Albany from 2017-2019 and served as the Great Danes primary center fielder. Wade helped lead her team to back-to-back America East Conference championships and 1 regular season championship. UAlbany posted a record of 85-51 from 2017-2019 and made two Division 1 NCAA regional appearances during her tenure. 

Wade led the Great Danes in stolen bases each of the three years she played. She topped the charts in the America East Conference in stolen bases and runs scored her sophomore season. Ranked second in the conference in stolen bases her junior year and third in the conference for stolen bases her senior year. The only player in the conference to have 0 errors her senior year. In her sophomore season she ranked 4th on the team with a batting average of .296 and led the team with stolen bases (23) and runs (36). Earned a place on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Played scholastically for Nottingham high school from 7th-12th grade. Made all league teams each year and All-CNY sophomore year. Recorded the second highest batting average in the state senior year. Additionally, Wade played varsity basketball from 9th-12th grade. Received all-league accolades her junior and senior year. Nottingham Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Female Player of the Year, Basketball MVP (2015) and softball MVP 5 years in a row.Â
