Jasmine Davis is in her first year as a member of the women’s basketball staff.
A native of Syracuse, Davis joined the staff after serving as an assistant girls basketball coach at Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She started her collegiate career at Coffeyville Community College, where she was a member of the women’s basketball team from 2014-16 and earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Honorable Mention accolades.
She continued her collegiate career at West Virginia State University from 2016-18. She averaged 11.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game as a starter in 47 of 58 games played, while connecting on 34.7-percent of her three-point attempts. Her 162 career three-pointers are the second-most in the program’s history, while her scoring average is the 10th-best. Her 88 three-pointers as a senior are the most in a season in the program’s history, while her 74 as a junior are the second-most.
She then played the 2018 season for Ostrava in the Czech Republic.
During her scholastic career at Corcoran High School, she led the Cougars to the league championship and was an All-CNY First Team selection.
