Lily Grenci is in her second season as the Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant after being hired in July 2013.
Grenci, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siena College in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology, was a First Team All-MAAC honoree each of her final two seasons with the Saints. A three-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection, Grenci was selected to the Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association Scholar Athlete Team in 2012 and 2013. The team's most valuable player as a junior and senior, she completed her career with 1,074 points, 624 rebounds (19th in the program's history) and 347 free throws made (4th in program history). In her final collegiate campaign, Grenci averaged career-bests of 15.9 points (2nd in the MAAC) and 9.5 rebounds (3rd in the MAAC), while posting a 79.0 free throw percentage (6th in the MAAC) and 1.7 steals per game (11th in the MAAC).
Prior to her senior year, Grenci was selected as a candidate for the prestigious Senior CLASS Award, given annually to a Division I senior based on notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. As a junior, Grenci was named to the All-MAAC First Team after ranking second in the conference in scoring (15.2), third in rebounding (7.8), sixth in free throw percentage (76.3%) and seventh in field goal percentage (44.0%). Additionally, she was the only player in the conference to record double-digit points in all 18 regular season MAAC contests.
