2023: Sophomore - In her first season with the Dolphins at the Division I level, Jacob competed in six different invitationals and ended her season with two top-25 finishes. Opening the year at the 2023 Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sept. 2), Alexandra ran the 4k in a time of 18:49.2 and 25th overall. The following meet, she set a personal record in the 6k at the 2023 Yellowjacket XC Invitational (Sept. 16), running a time of 27:52.4 and finishing 182nd overall. She would also compete in the 6k at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (Sept. 30) with a time of 28:04.7. Jacob set another personal record two weeks later, competing in the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 14), running the 5k in 21:14.4 and finishing 69th overall. At her first Northeast Conference Championship (Oct. 28), Alexandra would compete in the 5k running a time of 23:53.1 and 72nd overall. In the final meet of the year, Jacob and the Dolphins travelled to the Saint Francis University Red Flash Rally (Nov. 5) where she set another personal record in the 4k, running a time of 18:14.2 and finishing 19th overall, her best finish of the season.
