2023: Redshirt Junior - In her third season with the Dolphins and the first at the Division I level, Bisognano ended the season with two top-2 finishes including a first place finish. That finish occurred during the first meet of the season, the 2023 Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sept. 2), where she finished 1st overall in the 4k with a time of 15:33.7, a personal best. The following meet at the 2023 Yellowjacket XC Invitational (Sept. 16), Sophia competed in the 6k, where she ran a time of 23:39.0 and 32nd overall. Two weeks later, the Dolphins traveled to the Lehigh Paul Short Run (Sept.30), where Sophia set another personal best during the 6k running a time of 23:24.3 and 104th overall. At the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 14), she set yet another personal record for the 5k completing the event in 18:56.9 and 16th overall. At her first Northeast Conference Championship (Oct. 28), Sophia competed in the 5k running in a time of 19:53.9 and placing 24th overall. The Dolphins headed to the Saint Francis University Red Flash Rally (Nov. 5) to close out their season, where Sophia competed in the 4k in a time of 15:48.3 and 2nd overall.

2022: Redshirt Sophomore – In her second campaign with the Dolphins, Bisognano once again was part of Le Moyne’s scoring group at every single event during the season… during the season-opening Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sep 3), she finished 18^th with a time of 17:18.2 at the four-kilometer course to help the Dolphins to a third-place finish… at Vassar’s Ron Stonitsch Invitational (Sep 10), she was the first Le Moyne runner to complete the five-kilometer course with a time of 21:07.7 to register a 19^th-place finish, helping the Dolphins to finish in fifth… she was once again the first Dolphin to cross the finish line at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational (Sep 24), navigating the five-kilometer course in 19:58.7 to finish 37^th… she placed 12^th at the five-kilometer Hamilton College Invitational (Oct 8) with a time of 20:24.9 to help the ‘Phins come in third… Bisognano was the second Dolphin to finish at the Hamilton Tune-Up, running the four-kilometer course in 16:06 (a 72-second improvement from her time at the season-opening Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational) to finish 19^th… she was the first Le Moyne runner to finish at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship (Nov 6) cruising the six-kilometer course in 24:04.2 (an 84-second improvement from her time at the 2021 NE10 Championship) to record a 24^th-place finish and help guide the Dolphins to seventh place…  registered a 50^th-place finish at the NCAA East Region Championship, completing the six-kilometer course in 24:05.5.

2021: Redshirt Freshman – In her first season with the Dolphins, Bisognano recorded three top-10 finishes, and scored at all five regular season invitationals, as well as both postseason events… during her collegiate debut at Le Moyne’s Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational (Sep 4), she was the third Dolphin to cross the finish line with a time of 16:49.3 at the four-kilometer course, recording a 10^th-place finish to help the Dolphins to a second-place finish… she was the second Dolphin to cross the finish line at the Siena College Invitational (Sep 11), placing 39^th at the five-kilometer race with a time of 20:38.0 to help the Dolphins finish fifth… at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational (Sep 25), she was once again the second Dolphin to cross the finish line with a time of 19:47.2 at the five-kilometer course, an over 50-second improvement from her time at Siena… registered a third-place finish at the Cazenovia College Invitational, helping the ‘Phins finish in first at the event with a time of 21:24.9 at the five-kilometer course… placed seventh at the Hamilton College Invitational (Oct 9), with a five-kilometer time of 20:03.5… at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship (Oct 24), she was the third Le Moyne runner to finish with a six-kilometer time of 25:26, good for a 48^th-place finish to help the ‘Phins finish eighth… she was also the third Dolphin to finish at the NCAA East Region Championship (Nov 6), navigating the six-kilometer course in 24:08.3 to register a 60^th-place finish.

Personal – A 2020 graduate of Colonie Central High School where she was on the Honor Roll for all four years and a was a member of the National Honor Society... Sophia also competes for the track team at Le Moyne, focusing on mid-distance and distance events... majoring in English... daughter of Joe and Mary Bisognano, and has three siblings named Carina, Anthony and Michael.
