Plis joined the men's and women's golf coaching staffs during the Fall 2021 semester.
Plis is a graduate of fellow NE10-member Franklin Pierce University, where he was a member of the men’s golf team for four years. He earned Northeast-10 First Team All-Conference honors twice and was the NE10 Rookie of the Year.
Locally, Plis won the 2018 Syracuse District Golf Association Amateur Championship.
Plis also serves as the Event Operations Coordinator with the CNY PGA, where he works Section events and CNY PGA Junior Tour events as well as playing a key role in the Section’s social media engagement efforts.
Plis earned his college degree in Sports and Recreation Management and minored in Marketing. His professional goal is to find a career within the golf Industry. He also plans to continue to play competitive golf when his schedule allows.
